Medical Cannabis allowed Lisa to heal and go back to her full-time career as VP Clients Services. “I figured out how to manage pain and increase functionality, without intoxication." Unfortunately, in 2015 Lisa was injured in a serious hit and run car accident forcing her to leave her Digital Communications career behind, albeit temporarily. During this time, (while awaiting another back surgery required after the accident), with the desire to play a more active role in her health, Lisa went back to school to become a Health & Wellness Coach. She loved the learning and coaching so much that she also added a Life Coaching Certification.
"So, I left my full-time agency career and began working independently as a Marketing Communications consultant and in between I trained Registered Staff and other medical professionals in LTC & Retirement, on the science and functional uses of Cannabinoid Therapy. Then a strange thing happened - COVID hit - and the world turned upside down. I began getting calls from a variety of entrepreneurs, small and mid-sized business owners. Even senior individuals in larger organizations - all these people had one thing in common "OVERWHELM"!
The requests varied from "how do I get everything I need to get done, done, help", to "I'm working non-stop and when I'm not working I'm playing school teacher - I've eaten myself out of my clothes and I'm now borderline diabetic, help" this continued with urgent requests like "I have to build a social presence now and I don't know what that looks like and I don't have time to take on any more work, help" or "I want to write a blog to build my brand but I have no time, help".
ENTER THE COMMUNICATIONS CONCIERGE | EXECUTIVE VA & LIFE BALANCE COACH
Lisa spent so many years burning the candle at both ends, with a full career, young children and health concerns that would only progress as time went on, if not well-managed.
“For the years leading up to my surgery I made some serious changes, broke some not-so-great habits. I spent so long making sure everyone’s work was completed on time, on budget and on target - it was time to balance my own life and I learned how to move myself into a stronger healthier place and when I had my surgery at the beginning of 2019, I was stronger than I had been in years – and at 56 I recovered faster than I did at 38!
“As a child I always wanted to save the world one human being at a time, so I started with myself and now I'm finally where I was meant to be, doing what I was meant to do.
Helping others find focus, balance, alleviate stress, and get S&!t done! The goal is to better support & build your business while living a healthy fulfilled life. Create time for the most important things and live better!
